TikTok also launched a #voiceover trend on the “discover” page highlighting popular videos that have used the feature before in an effort to encourage more users to try it out. “Voice Over for videos? We’ve got that. Try our new #VoiceOver feature, and tell us what’s going on in your world,” reads the trend’s info page. There are currently over 490 million videos under the trend.

The new feature is a great way to keep users in the app. Previously, TikToker’s used other editing tools like iMovie mobile or InShot to add their own voice tracks.
