The Brief: A "quarantini" a combination of the words "quarantine" and "martini," is a cocktail to drink while under quarantine.
DEEP DIVE
As more people take part in isolation, social distancing, and quarantines to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), many are creating signature cocktails for the occasion, calling them “quarantinis.” With the combination of quarantines and bar closures worldwide, people are finding themselves bored at home. Many people have come up with the same pun: “quarantini” to name the cocktails that they’re making during these times of isolation.
Some suggest mixing Vitamin C-filled drinks with booze to boost immunity. Beware, however, that Emergen-C does not recommend that people take their products with alcohol, as per this tweet:
We do not recommend taking any of our products with alcohol.

Quarantini’s are not exactly health-boosting as alcohol can dehydrate the body. In moderation, people are finding them to be a fun way to pass the time during quarantine and isolation periods, even drinking them during online happy hours.
