A new TikTok account for a spoon is gunning for Charli D’Amelio‘s milestone of 100 million followers on the short-form video app.

This stunt feels similar to January 2019’s egg challenge, which saw a picture of an egg ask users to help it gain more likes on a photo than Kylie Jenner, who had 18 million likes, the most number of likes any one account had on a photo at the time. The photo of an egg beat Jenner’s record with over 24.5 million likes. It now has over has 55 million likes.

TikTok account @WorldsMostFamousSpoon is two-days old and has accumulated over 460,000 followers. The account’s first video was a highly effective call-to-action. It began by introducing D’Amelio, who currently has 98.5 million followers. It then teased TikTokers who users thought could be the next D’Amelio, like Addison Rae or Bella Poarch who have 68.5 million and 41.9 million followers, respectively, before introducing a spoon.

The account has creatively used TikTok’s “Reply With A Video” comment feature to create new videos, engage with followers, and capture the attention of viewers. The spoon even showcased its dancing skills which are “better than Charli’s.”
