A post shared by @ _theemuse on

Iman is the teen behind the #ImBlackMovement on TikTok on May 19. She organized an online demonstration where black creators and their allies protested unfair censorhip on the app. TikTokers changed their default photos to Black power fists, only engaged with content from Black creators that day, and left the comments #ImBlackMovement and #BlackVoicesHeard under videos.

Iman’s account is dedicated to keeping TikTokers informed on issues disproportionately affecting the Black community. As of late, she’s been dancing to trending songs on the app while relaying updates about protests in major cities to her followers.
