The dancing “Oogachaka” Baby from Ally McBeal was a pop culture phenomenon in the 1990s, now it’s back in high-definition on TikTok. The dancing baby GIF was initially revived by Twitter user @JArmstrongArty.

Now, TikTokers are using the graphic to make jokes about babies and miscarriages. Some content may be deemed insensitive, inappropriate, or NSFW. These videos are linked to a rehashed version of the popularly dubbed “No, I Know” song (actually called “Opaul” by Freddie Dredd). The new version of the audio features the original song’s chorus before it is repeated in a high-pitched voice, likened to that of a baby.

Lyrics:

Oh David, não vai não
Agora que esse som tá ficando bom

This audio was first used in a popular video from creator @juneisjun on Jan. 29. It received over 100,000 likes and 3.4 million views.

TikTokers then added the high-definition dancing baby, taking the sound to another level, and subsequently starting a new trend.

Creator @nzingadxn poked fun at the Harry Potter series, using the dancing baby gif to symbolize “the boy who lived” after Voldemort’s failed assassination attempt. This video received over 268,000 likes and 1.5 million views.

TikTok couple @Team2Moms noted they cannot get pregnant, so one of the mother’s abdominal pain must be due to eating too much.

Other creators are using the HD baby gif to represent miscarriages, semen, and actual babies. Please note, some videos may be insensitive to some.
