Game of Thrones fans rejoiced on Sunday evening as the show’s eighth and final season kicked off on HBO. While the episode itself wasn’t as lit as we’ve come to expect from GOT, the most memorable/cringeworthy moment was clear.
For years, GOT viewers have watched Bran Stark transform from boy-pushed-out-a-window in the pilot episode to all-seeing Three Eyed Raven to a major contender for the Iron Throne.
Whether Bran claims the throne or not is still to be seen, however there’s no doubt that his shade-throwing was on fleek in last night’s season premiere.
Memes circulated quickly on Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram, following the episode, many of which feature Bram staring down the other characters.
“It me, Jaime.”
Nobody crumbled beneath Bran’s piercing gaze like Jaime Lannister, the man responsible for crippling Bran in Season One. It’s a reunion fans have been eagerly anticipating.

Additional “Bran Memes” popped up, all of which feature someone staring down another, though none as frightening as Bran’s gaze.
Between Bran’s looks and the teaser for next week’s episode, something tells us that there might be a cold ending in sight for Jaime Lannister.
