TikTokers are reminiscing on some of their most memorable moments by taking part in the “Post A Memory Flashback” trend on TikTok. These videos are performed to Grouplove’s “Tongue Tied.” Some videos also use TikTok’s “Flashback” effect to introduce an old video taken from the creator’s camera roll. They began growing in popularity on the app in mid-July.
At the time of publication, there are over 352,000 videos linked to the sound. While there are TikToks that are associated with other trends under this audio, many of the top ranked videos are “Post A Memory Flashback” TikToks.
Some videos highlight happy memories, like when @brightonbischoff_ flew out to surprise her unsuspecting boyfriend. The throwback video garnered over 1.5 million likes and 6.6 million views.
