The hacker, who goes by the username “Hacker Giraffe,” posted a Twitter thread explaining their process and motivations. They claimed to have found over 800,000 vulnerable printers before choosing 50,000 to hack. Hacker Giraffe explained their methods in detail, potentially laying out plans for future hacking while also raising awareness of a major oversight in printer security and privacy.
