There are over 100,000 videos linked to the sound under @gcoochie and @bingbongshowtime. These videos grew in popularity in late June 2020. These videos are typically part of a large chain that traces back to creator @dailydefaultdancson’s June 7 TikTok. The video was captioned, “Can we bring back ‘The doing the thing that made you ‘famous’ chain lol.” The video received over 36,000 likes and 146,000 views.
