The “Come Here Girl” TikTok trend calls for users to create videos that identify four or five celebrities (or social media stars) they’d like to meet in the club, set to Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack.” The trend began rising in popularity around early April. While the trend does not have an identifiable hashtag, it can be tracked under the sound “SexyBack” that has amassed over 270,000 video views.

“Come Here Girl” videos are marked by users pretending four or five different celebrities quoted a line from Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack.” The TikToker then obliges the celebrity and parties with them at a club or house party.

Lyrics featured in these TikTok videos are as follows:

Come here, girl (go ‘head, be gone with it)
Come to the back (go ‘head, be gone with it)
VIP (go ‘head, be gone with it)
Drinks on me (go ‘head, be gone with it)
You see what you’re twerking with (go ‘head, be gone with it)

Popular videos doing this trend have received millions of views. Popular user @original.don‘s video identifying her celebrity crushes (Roddy Rich, BTS‘ Kim Taehyung, Tom Holland, and more) has received over 4.9 million views and 1.2 million likes.

User @Shanreanne‘s “Come Here Girl” house party video featuring social media star David Dobrik‘s vlog squad members (Zane Hijazi, Heath Hussar, Scotty Sire, and more) received over 3.6 million views and over 726,000 likes.

The “Come Here Girl” video trend has taken on a life of their own, with TikTokers throwing themselves at fictitious characters, too. @Challxn showcased her infatuation with the vampires from Vampire Diaries spin-off  The Originals.

@icarly_s parodied Netflix’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, pretending she was Lara Jean hanging out with all of her previous loves.

The newest iteration of the “Come Here Girl” trend sees some TikTokers fleeing the club after running into celebrities they dislike, like popular user @tyshonlawrence‘s video which identifies controversial president Donald Trump,  alleged pedophile R. Kelly, and convicted sex-offender Bill Cosby.
