The Brief: The 2019 Houston Texans would like to consider themselves Super Bowl contenders. Here are the Texans memes that tell the tale of their season.

Bluesquiggle
DEEP DIVE

Texans Memes are like a Deshaun Watson scramble or a JJ Watt sack. They are a thing of beauty.

The Houston Texans have elite players in QB Deshaun Watson, WR DeAndre Hopkins and DE JJ Watt. Can they help cover the holes in the Texans roster at offensive line and defensive secondary?

Despite the star power on the Texans, it’s been an up-and-down year. Even for those three players.

Watson has had some good games…

…and some not so good games.

Fans are praying the porous Texans o-line can protect Watson for once this season and keep him healthy, unlike previous seasons when we had Texans memes like this one.

Texans-Saints: A Game Ending for the Ages

Earlier this season, the Texans and Saints had a back-and-forth to close the game that was nothing short of epic.

First, it looked like the Saints had won the game, going up 27-21 with less than a minute to go. Watson had other ideas.

Then, Ka’imi Fairbairn missed the extra point that would have given the Texans the lead. But wait, there’s more! Saints rookie Chauncey Gardner-Johnson drew a penalty for roughing the kicker. Fairbairn hit his do-over to go ahead.

However, the Texans left too much time on the clock. Brees led his team down the field and Saints Kicker Will Lutz hit a game-winning 58-yard field goal.

The Texans memes couldn’t believe what had just unfolded.

Inject whatever the end of that game was straight into my veins and don't stop

Our poor hearts couldn’t handle all that excitement.

Will Lutz certainly dined out on that kick in New Orleans that week.

JJ Watt at the World Series

JJ Watt went to support his fellow Houston team as the Astros took on the Nationals in the World Series. Texans memes of the future Watts exploded on Twitter with a shot of JJ’s fiance, Kealia Ohai, eyeing his cell phone.

Texans memers quickly took note of the moment.

Some thought Ohai was an even better defender than the former DPOY.

Others saw themselves in Ohai.
