TikTokers are imagining their 2018-self fighting their 2021-self as part of the new #2018vs2021 trend. It is  similar to the “Watch Your Man, You Should Watch Your Mouth” trend which involved two fictional crushes fighting.

The trend is performed to Migos, Nicki Minaj, and Cardi B’s “MotorSport.” When Nicki Minaj raps “Watch your man,” the first photo appears. It is followed by the another photo set to the line, “Then you should watch your mouth.” This makes it appear like the two photos are exchanging fighting words. This trend, typically sees creators sharing photos of themselves at their best and their worst.

There are over 352,000 videos linked to the audio. The associated hashtag #2018vs2021 has accrued over 51.2 millions views.
