Thank you, Stan, for building a comic revolution– creating unforgettable characters, taking on important stories and themes like bigotry and prejudice when that's not what comics were doing, and defying the Comics Code Authority. We will miss seeing you. #excelsior pic.twitter.com/Ycj2yryyZY

I am so sad… stan lee actually shaped so much of my life with his stories. I grew up with marvel and became invested in the characters that give me such happiness. It’s a special thing to escape real life and enter the an entirely different universe he and others created

I refuse to be sad because he was a 95 year old man who missed his wife dearly. Instead I will use today to remember The Man, and the lessons he taught me that helped shape me into who I am today #Excelsior #NuffSaid pic.twitter.com/1i7KCLlYyK

It's hard to imagine what American comics would look like without Stan Lee's contributions, creative and cultural. There's a lot of good, and a lot of bad, and a lot of complicated; but none of it is zero-sum, because lives generally aren't. #Excelsior, Stan. You were a titan.
