Kanye West, also known as Yeezy and Ye, is an American rapper. In his career he has also worked as a singer, songwriter, record producer, and fashion designer.

Kanye is known for his bold lyrics, and fast rhymes, which have won him 21 Grammys. He has collaborated with artists including Jay-Z, Big Sean, and John Legend. Kanye is part of the rap duo Kids See Ghosts with Kid Cudi.

Kanye is married to Kim Kardashian and they have three children.

Kanye is notorious for his politics and for making controversial statements. In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he famously asserted that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Before and after the 2016 presidential election, Kanye was an avid Trump and #MAGA supporter. In an infamous 2018 interview with TMZ, Kanye said that to him, 400 years of American slavery “sounds like a choice.” After meeting with President Trump in the oval office and suggesting that the 13th amendment should be abolished, Kanye later said that he would be “distancing” himself from politics.
