The Brief: Several dances set to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's song "WAP" are going viral on TikTok.
As soon as Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion dropped “WAP,” TikTok dancers started choreographing moves to go with it. Now, there are several different popular WAP TikTok dances spreading on the app.
At the time of writing, one of the most widespread dances is by TikToker Brian Esperon (@besperon). This dance includes a series of elaborate moves, including the splits and on-the-floor twerking.

@besperson also choreographed another WAP dance for those of us who aren’t equipped for such acrobatics.
TikTokers are also dancing to creator @devantelatorreee’s WAP moves.

@jawn_joss also developed a dance to WAP that goes with the beginning of the song.
In addition to trying these dances, TikTok creators are using clips from WAP to show off their own moves, act out skits, and to share their love for the song. Inevitably, remixes of Ben Shapiro reading the lyrics of WAP have also inspired dances, memes, and roasts of his unsolicited comments about women’s bodies:
I choreographed a dance and learned the words tho this man spitting bard
