The Brief: The TikTok "teleport" effect allows creators to disappear and reappear in front of a new background.

TikTok launched a new “teleport” effect and people are using it in creative videos. At the time of writing, over 134,000 videos have been made with the effect and it was featured on TikTok’s Discover page. Videos associated with the hashtag #Teleport have been viewed over 242 million times.

The TikTok teleportation effect can be accessed on the app’s editing interface under “effects” or it can be found by clicking on another video that uses it.

The effect is a perfect way for people to show where they’d like to go once it’s safe to travel again.

The teleport effect is perfect for acting out scenes from movies and TV shows with magical elements…
