#FreezeFrame is trending on TikTok and has caught the attention of 150 million users of the dominating social media platform. The original song featured in a majority of the videos is by the user, @ericgalinski. People are recording a wide range of different actions in these short-form videos to be creative. TikTokers are manipulating the perspective of the viewer by angling the point-of-view slightly to make themselves appear gigantic with the #FreezeFrame capability. Other TikTokers have become more expressive by coming up with original dance moves to showcase while they appear to stand or sit on the palm of their own hand.

Through TikTok’s editing software, users can simply #FreezeFrame their clips to make themselves stop in motion to create a more innovative video. Once, a user accesses the video editing feature of the application, they must “Split” a part of the video they created. After a user splits an aspect of the clip, they must click the “Time” feature and then there will be a “Freeze” capability under that function, drag the desired amount of time you want to freeze your clip. Then click “Done” and save the TikTok to your camera roll!
