The latest trend on TikTok sees creators using on-screen text and using the word “b*tches” as an acronym. The creator typically stands in a edgy fashion, as if to imply they are very cool and can get a lot of women. Creators then use the letters in “b*itches” to share a silly moment, their insecurities, or even their fears. These videos are intended to be funny.

The trend began growing in popularity in early November. It is performed to Ugly God’s “I Got B*tches” cut into Lorde’s “Ribs.” There are over 113,000 videos linked to the sound.

The trend traces back to @Talonbuzbee’s Oct. 26 TikTok. In the beginning he claimed to have “b*tches,” before he used the “B” and “I” to reveal he actually has bad grades and a fear of losing his childhood. The video garnered over 764,000 likes and 2.4 million views.
