Throughout the month of June, official Virtual Pride 2K20 creators will share their artwork, messages, and discussions on the official Virtual Pride 2k20 TikTok account.
Virtual Pride 2K20 is also using this space to amplify the voices of Black creators in the midst of the Black Lives Matter protests after the George Floyd, an unarmed Black man, was killed by police in May 2020.
Virtual Pride 2k20 actually extends far beyond TikTok. The online event is simultaneously held on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch.
The organizers created a calendar organized by type of activity, topic, color, and hashtag. Others are encouraged to get involved by attending live streams on Twitch or Instagram, duetting and following trends on TikTok, and using the suggested hashtag under videos.
They can also submit their own artwork to be featured on the site.
