Celebrities’ kitchens and cooking habits have often become objects of scrutiny, and Timothée Chalamet’s recent Instagram of his pantry is no different. On May 14, 2020, Timmy posted a photo of the inside of his pantry to his 8.7 million Instagram followers, racking up over 1.7 million likes. In the comments section and on Twitter, fans gushed over and roasted the contents of Chalamet’s pantry in Timothée Chalamet pantry memes, or “Timothée’s Pantrée” memes, if you will.

Many memes pointed to how although Timothée is worth millions of dollars, his sparse pantry appears to contain far-from-gourmet grocery store items including Kraft macaroni and cheese, Triscuits, Progresso soup, and Kroger brand honey. As Chalamet posts on Instagram relatively infrequently, many stans were quick to latch onto whatever content he’ll give them, while others lamented that he didn’t post a thirst trap instead.
