The Brief: An internet meme asks people to Google their name + "the hedgehog" to discover their own personalized cartoon hedgehog.

DEEP DIVE
If you have a common first name and Google your name followed by “the hedgehog,” it’s likely that you’ll find a furry-like anthropomorphized cartoon hedgehog with your name next to it. Online, people have been asking others to do this and share the results, in the resurgence of a meme that started in 2010.
These images mostly come from DeviantArt and are fan-art based on the video game character Sonic The Hedgehog. Apparently, DeviantArt is full hundreds of unique user-drawn hedgehogs with different names and characteristics. The meme is a fun way to find your own hedgehog persona, of which there are a wide variety.
CHALLENGE! Google your name + "the hedgehog" and post the first picture you get 😂

I’ve never really minded having a weirdly spelled name until tonight, when the “your name + the hedgehog” google search game yielded no results. I will never be a weird OC hedgehog and I’m real mad about it, parents.

Last night we were talking about how everyone has a (your name) the hedgehog already created. But @curryless went even further beyond and made this for me: a sonic with plaid fur. This is my OC pls don't steal pic.twitter.com/bmHSjlPKXR

never forget that you can always go on Google and type your first name + "the Hedgehog" to find Sonic fandom OC sharing your name pic.twitter.com/OnmydCQiFc

my ideal party theme is everyone has to look "(your name) the hedgehog" up on deviantart and come to the party dressed as that OC
