It’s been a big week for Peppa Pig. Her first album dropped on the 19th, rumors have been circulating that she’s over seven feet tall, and now she’s the subject of a trending TikTok meme with the hashtag #ThePig.
Peppa, what are you doing inside my chocolate?
Many of the Peppa Pig TikTok memes are based on a video created by user @beasinthetrap. In the video, a boy is shown taking a bite of a chocolate egg, only to find a miniature Peppa Pig figurine inside. The video starts with the line “hey guys, so I’m eating chocolate for the first time.” After he takes a bite of the egg, he flirtatiously says “Peppa!? What are you doing inside my chocolate??? Mmm…”
This video has inspired a number of similar variations. Over two thousand videos have been made with audio from the original video, and many others add a unique spin. Oftentimes, they show people eating a chocolate egg with a Peppa Pig toy inside called Galerie Peppa Pig Finders Keepers Milk Chocolate Candy & Toy Surprise, which is available at Walmart.
