As of May 29, Forbes rescinded Kylie Jenner‘s self-made billionaire status. The publication known for their lists on the wealthiest people on the planet, reported the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family was the youngest “self-made” billionaire by their standards in March 2019.

At that time, many were split about the Jenner’s “self-made” title, considering Jenner comes from an affluent family. However, Forbes‘ definition of self-made isn’t solely bestowed upon rags to riches stories. Rather, Forbes uses the term in a broad sense, defining it as, “someone who built a company or established a fortune on her own, rather than inheriting some or all of it. As long as the list member didn’t inherit a business or money, she is labeled self-made.”

However, according to recent tax findings, the makeup-mogul is not a billionaire.

Jenner’s billionaire status was contingent on her sale of 51% of her company Kylie Cosmetics to beauty giant Coty in a deal valued at $1.2 billion. That was closed in  January 2020. But after looking through the deal’s fine print and filings released by publicly traded Coty over the past six months, Forbes learned Jenner’s business was “significantly smaller, and less profitable, than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.” The publication goes on to say Jenner may have even forged tax returns, and “based on this new information—plus the impact of Covid-19 on beauty stocks and consumer spending—Forbes now thinks that Kylie Jenner, even after pocketing an estimated $340 million after taxes from the sale, is not a billionaire.”

Jenner responded to Forbes in a series of tweets, mainly saying she is worried about more important things.

Naturally, people demanded she open her purse and donate to more pressing matters, like George Floyd’s funeral or COVID-19 relief efforts.

Also, the memes poured in.

Many  memes were also directed at Forbes for not picking up on the fabricated claims sooner:

While others were directed at Jenner’s stans:
