Twitter users are turning themselves and their favorite celebrities into fairies on social media by tweeting side-by-side images of a portrait photo and a pair of wings. The most popular set of wings are gold and iridescent.
Many of these photos can be found on Twitter under the hashtag #FairyWings and #FairyChallenge. The trend began growing in popularity around June 20, 2020.
The trend is similar to that of Lisa from BLACKPINK’s thigh-high boots challenge.
Typically, Twitter users share self-portraits, but celebrities are a popular take for stan accounts.
