WOC or WoC is an acronym for women of color. See also POC.

When a WoC tells white colleagues that she feels alienated in science & that white ppl could do more & their response is that they're doing their best & that *they* feel alienated by her words & that she needs to be kinder, that WoC struggles to remember why she is in science.
