The Brief: Trumpy Bear is a Donald Trump-inspired stuffed bear that's been advertised on TV.

A TV commercial for a somewhat creepy-looking 45th president-themed stuffed bear went viral after it aired on Fox News. This “Trumpy Bear” is an actual product available for over $40 and it’s been on the market since last year.
Made in China, this “fearless super-plush American grizzly” comes with an American flag blanket stored in a compartment in his back. Unlike MAGA hats, the Trumpy Bear is not officially affiliated with President Trump.
This somewhat absurd commercial and product provided fodder for many Trump supporters to drag both his administration and bear doppelgänger. Jimmy Kimmel and James Corden both mentioned the bear on their late night talk shows.

Curiosity got the better of me. I called up the customer service line at Exceptional Products, Inc., the company that sells Trumpy Bear, and spoke to someone who I'm fairly certain is the president of the company (small business).
She confirmed the bears are made in China.
