In the age of digital media, people are finding new ways to communicate with people whether that be through a platonic or romantic relationship dynamic. People are using social media in every aspect of their lives and that also includes digital breakups.
Similar to being Zumped, Skumping is the act of ending a relationship over Skype and this has apparently happened to many people before.
