The term was popularized through Twitter after the “Rona” was born and has now been the main subject to many recent jokes and memes regarding the virus.
“Miss Rona” is a symbolic figure relating to the Coronavirus and social media users are referring to her when they want to release some pent-up anger regarding how the virus has affected the entire world and their ways of life.
