The Brief: The terms pandemicversary and pandemaversary are used to mark monthly and yearly anniversaries of the Coronavirus pandemic.

DEEP DIVE
As people come to the one-year anniversary of when the Coronavirus pandemic changed life as they knew it, the terms pandemicversary and pandemaversary are being thrown around to mark the occasion. While a year in a pandemic isn’t exactly something to celebrate, it is certainly a milestone. People are using these terms in positive and negative ways, patting themselves on the back for making it this far and acknowledging the seriousness of this ongoing global crisis.
That company-wide “Happy Pandemaversary!” email better come with a raise

March 12 will be my 1 year pandemaversary. A year of not going inside anywhere but my own house, seeing no one by my husband & son. I think I need celebrate. Cake with sparklers? Bottle of champagne? Not kidding about this. What would you suggest?
