The Brief: Kludgy is something clumsy, awkward, and unpolished.

DEEP DIVE
Kludgy, also spelled cludgy, is used in reference to computers and technology with jenky design. It comes from the word kludge, or kluge, which describes a haphazard and inconvenient solution to a problem.
Steve Jobs was exactly right about Flash – it’s a kludgy outdated technology and it wants to die.

Only way this kludgy, permanent-beta universe makes sense is if God is a tech bro.

Working on code so kludgy I am having a hard time even writing it; there has to be a better solution.
There isn't, though. This is how they want it.
Just had to rant a bit before I actually do it.
