TikTok users are twerking to a classical piece called “Bella’s Lullaby” from the 2008 hit vampire movie Twilight. These videos typically consist of a TikToker showcasing their best dance skills. Users have begun to use TikTok‘s “Freeze Frame” feature to create small versions of themselves entertaining the larger version of themselves.  This trend is not categorized by an official name or hashtag, rather it is tracked under the linked sound: “Theme from Twilight (Bella’s Lullaby)” on TikTok.

The trend began when actor Amandla Stenberg (@amandlafr) posted a video of them and a friend twerking to the track on April 2. Their video amassed 1.8 million views and 392,000 likes.

Then popular user @twaimz adapted the concept into a choreographed routine that has since been duetted and rehashed across the app. @Twaimz’ video received over 7.1 million views and 1.8 million likes.

Dancers begin their video as if they are experiencing some sort of inner, emotional torment before breaking into an entire twerk routine.

Videos have begun to emerge of TikTokers performing a twerk routine to the same music using TikTok’s “Freeze Frame” to create multiple people. @_madmack used the effect to pretend a mini version of himself was Tinkerbell dancing for a large version of Peter Pan. The popular video, which garnered over 3.2 million views and over 866,000 likes, is captioned, “Tinkerbell when Peter needs some fairy dust.”
